Just when we thought we had just about seen everything a car like this arises. Displaying a ridiculously low 39,449 miles from new. Quite easily one of the lowest mileage XY’s we have come across to date. Retailed through Greenaway Ford in Grafton, New South Wales in March 1972 and staying in the same family until 2016. The XY then went on to spend the rest of its time in two private collections. The well-preserved Teal Glow metallic paint is mostly original with only some touch ups and is matched superbly with the Parchment coloured trim, which was only offered by Ford at the end of the XY production. This car oozes originality, from the unmarked dash pad, matching number engine and beautiful rubber boot mat. Bronze Beauty! Now available for sale at Muscle Car Warehouse is this amazing 1969 Holden HT Monaro GTS. Another beautiful example of its model and still registered to the daughter of the original owner. This car has had zero modifications and is as it left the showroom floor way back in 1969. The car was treated to a respray approximately 15 years ago in its original Daytona Bronze at which time the GTS stripes were added as the car was not ordered with them from new. The HT was assembled in the Dandenong plant in Victoria and delivered to Wattie Corrie Motors PTY LTD. The Sandalwood trim could not compliment the Daytona Bronze exterior any better and again is without any modifications. Started life as an LC Torana S and painted in GMH Tangerine approximately 15 years ago with GTR striping and badges. As the pictures show, the car presents beautifully and has always been meticulously maintained both inside and out. The Torana also had the bumper bars rechromed and all the stainless polished at that time. Even the glass was replaced with all new items but except for the rear one. The interior too has been upgraded to replicate the GTR look including a GTR dash. Lift the hood and there is a Rocket Industries small block Chev 383 stroker crate motor pumping out close to 430 horsepower. A Turbo 400 auto with a 2200 stall convertor and a 9” diff complete the driveline perfectly. All the running gear, suspension brakes, etc. have only done 1480km. Muscle Car Warehouse are excited to now offer for sale this 1968 Ford Falcon XR GT. The car that started the muscle car craze in Australia back in 1967. Believed to be one of only 596 examples made by Ford Australia and rarely offered for sale. This example was built in January of 1968 and retailed through Peter Wright Ford in Footscray, Victoria. Both the top and bottom of this car has been lovingly rebuilt, with the car rarely used since completion. The presentation of the undercarriage is as good as the rest of the car. Being built in 1968 means the XR was fitted with a 302 V8 Windsor engine and not a 289 making it somewhat rarer. Also running a four-speed manual transmission and the original diff. The AC Cobra, sold in the United States as the Shelby Cobra and AC Shelby Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. It was produced intermittently in both the UK and later the USA since 1962. With some help from Ford Motor Company and a small team of mechanics, the first Shelby Cobra was introduced in 1962. It was powered by Ford’s 260 engine, and later with the 289 and 427 V8, and it pretty soon took the sports car world by a storm. The combination of lightweight body, small dimensions and brute US power proved to be revolutionary and the car did extremely well in competition all around the world.
