After 25 years of absence of a full-size Holden coupe, the Monaro made a return in 2001 following the overwhelming response of the public and media to the VT-based Holden Coupé concept displayed at the 1998 Australian International Motor Show held in Sydney. Holden launched the V2-series Monaro based on the VX-series Commodore. 1988 Holden VL Walkinshaw SS Group A.

Here is yet another stunning example of a SS Group A Walkinshaw. Once again, this car was originally part delivered to the D’Alberto Holden dealership in Echuca Victoria and kept with the D’Alberto family as part of their private collection until 2018 which was never registered and still remains unregistered with its original blank logbook meaning you could be the first private owner of this very special HSV. In that time the car was only used for maintenance purposes and to this day has only clocked up 1312 kilometres. This car was also allocated build number 333 so that it matched the build numbers of the other Group A’s already in the collection at the time. When HSV said they saved the best till last, they were right. The Holden VN Group A was something else when released in 1990. Being the lowest production bult HSV and even compared to by some to the Ford Falcon XY GTHO.
