1988 Holden VL Walkinshaw SS Group A.
Here is yet another stunning example of a SS Group A Walkinshaw. Once again, this car was originally part delivered to the D’Alberto Holden dealership in Echuca Victoria and kept with the D’Alberto family as part of their private collection until 2018 which was never registered and still remains unregistered with its original blank logbook meaning you could be the first private owner of this very special HSV. In that time the car was only used for maintenance purposes and to this day has only clocked up 1312 kilometres. This car was also allocated build number 333 so that it matched the build numbers of the other Group A’s already in the collection at the time. Just as you would expect this car is in brand new condition. There are no modifications whatsoever and would suit any Commodore or HSV collector. It still retains the original Bridgestone RE71 [...]

1990 Holden Commodore VN SS Group A.
When HSV said they saved the best till last, they were right. The Holden VN Group A was something else when released in 1990. Being the lowest production bult HSV and even compared to by some to the Ford Falcon XY GTHO. Here is your opportunity to own what could easily be described as the best example of a VN Group A. in existence. Owned personally up until 2018 by the D’Álberto family, owners of the reputable D’Alberto Holden dealership in Echuca, Victoria. Initially HSV planned to produce 500 examples, but it is commonly known that only 302 examples were produced. This particular car wears build number 333 as this was the build number of the other three Group A Commodores in the D’Abreo collection so therefore HSV honoured this and still allocated this build number to this car. With just over 1800km this car could almost be [...]

Sunday, 25 June 1972, is the day that the great Australian muscle car died. The news of its demise was carried on the front page of Sydney’s Sun-Herald newspaper in the form of the screaming headline, ‘160mph Super Cars Soon’. Beneath the headline was a story that quoted the then NSW Transport Minister, the appropriately named Milton Morris, describing the cars planned for that year’s Bathurst enduro as “bullets on wheels”. It would have been the greatest GT-HO of them all. A political storm ensured that the Phase IV never competed in the big race it was designed to win.
Four XA GTHO Phase IV Falcons were built and subsequently sold. One was the only production Phase IV built and that was sold through Jack Brabham Ford in NSW. It was a Calypso Green four-door sedan and it’s the only one of the four to carry a compliance plate that identifies it as a GTHO. It came [...]

The VL SS Group A was the second car built for Group A racing purposes and numbered 500 in total. Released in 1986 it was hot on top of Grice’s Bathurst win and the launch of the Unleaded V8. Due to the controversial Energy Polariser there were two versions of the Group A. As a result, Brock’s signature only appears on the higher spec “Plus Pack” variant of which only 173 units were made. “Numbered 1 to 500 and going fast” is what the original sales brochure read when first released and today whenever advertised they last just as long!! Up for sale here is a nice example of HDT‘s second generation Group A Brock Commodore. From its exclusive colour Permanent Red together with the original body kit, unique Plus Pack decals to the factory option MOMO star rims including spare. Genuine front Scheel seats and glovebox build tag. Odometer reading is just over 170,000km. [...]
