Some would argue that the “Big Port” XB GTs were the last of the true muscle cars of the era. Only 139 examples produced at the beginning of the XB range to be fitted with both 4V heads along with the Top Loader four speed gearbox. What makes this one that little bit more special is the fact it is mostly untouched and somewhat of a survivor. Still wearing all its original Red Pepper paint and blackouts. Sitting on its original 12 slot wheels with dress rims and correct centre caps. Extremely solid car with no signs of any accident damage. Recently received a silver award at the 2025 Falcon GT Nationals in Shepparton, Victoria. The car has only ever had three owners, with the current one owning the car for 27 years. Further to this the car has only travelled approximately 48,000 miles and only a mere 4,000 miles in current ownership. Even still [...]

1988 Holden VL Walkinshaw SS Group A.

Here is yet another stunning example of a SS Group A Walkinshaw. Once again, this car was originally part delivered to the D’Alberto Holden dealership in Echuca Victoria and kept with the D’Alberto family as part of their private collection until 2018 which was never registered and still remains unregistered with its original blank logbook meaning you could be the first private owner of this very special HSV. In that time the car was only used for maintenance purposes and to this day has only clocked up 1312 kilometres. This car was also allocated build number 333 so that it matched the build numbers of the other Group A’s already in the collection at the time. Just as you would expect this car is in brand new condition. There are no modifications whatsoever and would suit any Commodore or HSV collector. It still retains the original Bridgestone RE71 [...]

Genuine Bathurst race car!!

Muscle Car Warehouse is now offering this 1970 Ford Falcon XW GTHO Phase II. This exact car was purchased by George Altomonte, the owner of Alto Ford in Sydney’s north for employee Bob Holden to race in the 1970 endurance events at Sandown and Bathurst. Bob Holden retired from the Sandown 3 hour with a mechanical issue after 52 laps. Bob Holden finished 14th at Bathurst after constant brake issues during the race. Driving solo, he finished 7 laps behind winner Allan Moffat. Like many cars of the era, it was sold and used on the road. It found its way to back to Australia from New Zealand in 2017. It has been restored to its Bathurst 1970 livery including roll cage and racing harness. Entered in both the 2017 and 2023 Falcon GT Nationals events. The GTHO has undergone a restoration at some time and as the pictures show, still presents beautifully. The opportunity [...]

A new exhaust has been fitted to the car recently and is as close to factory spec as possible. The car has been maintained and improved by its current owner. Interior is untouched and all original including seats, door trims and carpet. The car still sits on its original “256” rims including the spare.
