FORD BF GT COBRA R-Spec
In 2007, Ford drew inspiration from the hallowed names of the past and recreated a legend with the limited-edition FPV GT Cobra. Released at the Sydney Motor Show in both sedan and ute models, the new GT celebrated the Cobra name last seen in the Seventies on the famous white and blue XC hardtops that scored a memorable victory at Bathurst in 1977. Indeed, the latest Cobra was unveiled on a parade lap of Mount Panorama before the 2007 Bathurst 1000, exactly 30 years after Colin Bond and Allan Moffat’s triumphant 1-2 finish. As with the first generation Cobra’s, just 400 individually numbered examples of the new FPV GT Cobra sedan were made available, snapped up by enthusiasts, many of whom already owned one of the original XC Cobras. NO, your eyes are not deceiving you!!  Only  59 Delivery kilometres is all that this car has travelled!!  Almost impossible to find another BF Cobra of this calibre. Originally delivered to Reef City Ford Gladstone and lovingly cared for ever since.
