1970 Falcon XW GT-HO Phase II (Sold)

Muscle Car Warehouse is now offering this 1970 Ford Falcon XW GTHO Phase II. This exact car was purchased by George Altomonte, the owner of Alto Ford in Sydney’s north for employee Bob Holden to race in the 1970 endurance events at Sandown and Bathurst. Bob Holden retired from the Sandown 3 hour with a mechanical issue after 52 laps. Bob Holden finished 14th at Bathurst after constant brake issues during the race. Driving solo, he finished 7 laps behind winner Allan Moffat. Like many cars of the era, it was sold and used on the road. It found its way to New Zealand and was sold by auction to its current owner in 2017. It has been restored to its Bathurst 1970 livery. Please contact us for further information.
